Betting App Withdrawal Times in 2026: Methods, Fees, Holds and Bonus Rules Compared

What a withdrawal time covers

A stated withdrawal time usually measures one leg of a longer trip. Most operators review the request first, then send it, and then your bank or wallet takes its own time to post it. Deposits can also sit in a hold before they count as withdrawable, and money in an open position isn't available at all.

How we checked

Every cell comes from the operator's own help center or terms. Every page was opened on 6 October 2026 and rechecked on 7 October. Where an operator doesn't state a figure, the table says so instead of filling it from a review site.

We didn't time any withdrawals ourselves; the figures are each operator's stated maximums and typical times.

Withdrawal methods, times, fees and minimums

DraftKings measures its times from the email confirming the withdrawal was processed, so its clock starts after its own review. Kalshi also sets a personalized daily withdrawal limit that rises with account activity.

Holds and verification before a withdrawal clears

Novig: identity verification has to be complete, and funds in open or unsettled positions stay in escrow. New deposits show as Processing until they settle, "typically within a few business days depending on your deposit method."

Kalshi: card and ACH deposits can go back to the same method once they settle, and to a different method up to 2 days later. PayPal, Venmo, crypto and wire deposits carry no hold, and winnings above your deposits are withdrawable once settled. Crypto withdrawals need a prior crypto deposit.

Polymarket US: every deposit must fully clear first, withdrawals go back to the original funding source, and they're paid out first in, first out. A $100 card deposit followed by a $200 ACH deposit sends the first $100 withdrawn back to the card.

ProphetX: an account pending verification can't withdraw, and document reviews usually take a few hours but can take up to 24. A first wire to a new bank account needs a bank statement, ID and a photo of you holding the ID.

DraftKings: a first withdrawal, or one to a new method, requires two-factor verification by email, and most methods need an initial deposit.

FanDuel: most methods need a prior deposit with the same method, with online banking, check and cash at counter as exceptions.

Bonus money and what you can withdraw

All six offer some form of promotional credit. ProphetX lets the credit itself be withdrawn once the positions it funded settle; at most of the others, only what the credit wins becomes withdrawable. Novig's terms set no trading volume requirement before credit winnings can be withdrawn, and deposited money there has no playthrough either.

In Polymarket US's own example, a $20 promo credit used in trading stays non-withdrawable; if it produces $10 in proceeds after settlement, up to $10 can be withdrawn, and only once you've linked a payment method and an initial deposit has cleared.

FanDuel's playthrough page gives a 5x example: a $200 bonus needs $200 x 5 = $1,000 in wagers before it unlocks, and a $20 bonus needs $100.

A first debit card withdrawal, step by step

Say you deposited by debit card and want your money back on the same card. Adding up each operator's stated figures:

Kalshi: no hold once the card deposit settles, then a few hours.

DraftKings: up to 24 hours from the processed-withdrawal email.

FanDuel: up to 48 hours of review on a first withdrawal plus up to 24 hours to arrive, so up to 72 hours.

ProphetX: 24 hours to approve plus 1 to 5 business days.

Polymarket US: 3 to 4 business days for the deposit to clear plus 3 to 4 for the withdrawal, so 6 to 8 business days from deposit.

Novig: often minutes, or up to 48 hours if the request goes to manual review, then the card network's own time. Novig doesn't publish a per-method arrival time.

Where withdrawals get stuck

Open positions: on all four prediction markets, money in an unsettled position isn't withdrawable, so a season-long futures position holds that cash until the market settles.

Method mismatch: Polymarket US, FanDuel and DraftKings send most withdrawals back to a method you've deposited with. Depositing by card and withdrawing by bank often means making a small deposit by bank first.

Third-party accounts: ProphetX, Polymarket US and Kalshi all refuse accounts that aren't in your name, and ProphetX warns that third-party deposits cause delays.

Card deposits on Novig: card and Apple Pay deposits carry a 3% fee, while bank transfers and stablecoin deposits are free.

What to look for

Total time: add the review window to the payout window, since operators state them separately.

Deposit holds: check how long a new deposit takes to clear, which can matter more than the withdrawal itself.

Return-to-source rules: pick a deposit method you'd also want to be paid on.

Bonus conditions: read whether the credit, the winnings or both are withdrawable, and whether a playthrough applies.

Minimums: DraftKings allows $1 on most methods, Novig and ProphetX set $10, and wires carry much higher floors.
