Best Betting Apps With Deposit Match Offers in 2026

The strongest deposit match in US betting right now is Sleeper's, at 100% up to $100 with a 1x playthrough. Among sportsbooks, only BetMGM runs a genuine one, at 20% to 25% by state with a 10x playthrough that costs far more to clear. Real percentage matches have largely moved to daily fantasy apps while sportsbooks shifted to bet-and-get offers, and much of what's still advertised as a deposit match is a different product entirely.
Key takeaways
Best terms: Sleeper, 100% up to $100 at a 1x playthrough.
Biggest cap: Underdog, up to $1,000 at 1x, though it publishes no rate.
Only sportsbook running one: BetMGM, 20% to 25% by state, at 10x.
The multiple beats the percentage: at 10x a $1,000 credit is worth about $545. At 1x it is worth about $955.
No playthrough at all: Novig, at a flat $25.
Much of the category is mislabelled: casino matches, bet matches, first-bet matches and win-based offers all get filed under the same phrase.

What counts as a real deposit match?
Three different offers get sold under roughly the same language, and only one of them is a deposit match.
A deposit match credits you a percentage of what you pay in. Deposit $500 against a 100% match and $500 in credit lands in the account. That credit carries a playthrough requirement: you have to wager it some number of times before anything can be withdrawn.
A first-bet safety net refunds your opening wager, in credit, if it loses. Your deposit does not enter into it. You can fund the account with $2,000 and still only get back the $50 you actually risked.
A "bet $5, get $200" offer pays a fixed amount once you place a qualifying bet, whatever you deposited. The $200 is the same for everyone who clears the $5 bar.
Only the deposit match scales with your bankroll, and it's also where the terms do the most damage, because the credit has to be turned over before it becomes money.
How did we compare them?
We read published terms for ten sportsbooks, five prediction markets and six daily fantasy apps, all from the operator's own site, and took nothing from affiliate pages. Where an offer appeared only on a site paid to promote it, we left it out and said so.
Each entry below carries the date its terms were last read. Offers in this category change week by week, so that date matters more than it would on a fee schedule.
Which apps run a real deposit match?
App | Type | What you get | Playthrough | Expiry |
Sleeper | Daily fantasy | 100% up to $100 | 1x, deposit and match | 30 days |
Underdog | Daily fantasy | Up to $1,000, rate not published | 1x, deposit and bonus | 14 days |
BetMGM | Sportsbook | 20% to $1,500, or 25% to $2,500 by state | 10x, min odds -200 | 30 days |
Chalkboard | Daily fantasy | 50%, maximum unclear in its terms | 1x, deposit and bonus | 90 days |
Novig | Prediction market | $25 flat on a $10 deposit | None beyond the trade | 30 days |
DraftKings Predictions | Prediction market | $200 for $5 spent | None | 1 year |
1. Sleeper, the best terms of any match
Best overall deposit match. Terms last read 16 September 2026.
Sleeper matches a first deposit at 100% up to $100, on a $10 minimum. Playthrough is 1x, the lightest requirement attached to any percentage match here, and you have 30 days to clear it.
Read that 1x carefully: it applies to your deposit and the match together, so a $100 deposit means $200 of entries before anything comes out. Sleeper adds a free $20 entry, and winnings from it arrive as playthrough credit instead of cash.
Best for: anyone who plays daily fantasy and would clear $200 of entries anyway.
2. Underdog, the biggest cap and an unpublished rate
Best if you deposit large. Terms last read 16 September 2026.
Underdog advertises up to $1,000 in bonus funds on a first deposit, with a 1x playthrough across the deposit and bonus together. Funds land within 72 hours and expire after 14 days, the tightest window on this page.
The rate is the catch. Underdog does not publish one, and its terms describe a match "equal to a certain percentage" of your deposit, set per advertisement. Affiliate pages quote 50%, a figure appearing nowhere on Underdog's own site, so read the $1,000 as a ceiling.
Best for: larger deposits, if you can clear the turnover inside a fortnight.
3. BetMGM, the only sportsbook still doing this
Best if you want it at a sportsbook. Terms last read 16 September 2026.
BetMGM is the one operator crediting a percentage of your deposit at a US sportsbook. Two variants run, 25% up to $2,500 and 20% up to $1,500, served from different state pages.
The terms are where it gets expensive. The credit arrives as an On-Site Bonus, you cannot withdraw it, and it is lost if the bet it is staked on loses. Playthrough is 10x, only bets at -200 or longer count, and you have 30 days. That multiple does more damage than the headline percentage repairs.
The terms list 19 states: Arizona, Colorado, DC, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wyoming and West Virginia. The same pages exclude promotional offers in Illinois, Louisiana, New York, Nevada, Ohio and Puerto Rico.
Best for: sportsbook bettors depositing a large sum who will clear serious volume anyway.
4. Novig, the only one with no playthrough at all
Best if you would rather not clear anything. Terms last read 16 September 2026.
Novig pays $25 in Trade Credits on a deposit of $10 or more, issued as five $5 credits and usable on contracts priced between $0.01 and $0.60. The amount is flat, so a larger deposit earns you nothing extra.
Its terms state no playthrough or wagering requirement beyond the trade itself, the only zero here. On a small deposit that beats a percentage match outright, because there is no turnover to hand back.
Best for: anyone who would rather collect a small credit outright than clear a large one.
5. DraftKings Predictions, the biggest number on the page
Best headline figure. Terms last read 16 September 2026.
$200 in Predictions Dollars for $5 spent is the largest offer here by some distance, and it carries no playthrough. The catch is the drip: $50 lands immediately and the remaining $150 arrives over 21 days. Payouts convert to cash, and you have a year. Spending triggers it, so depositing more does nothing for you.
Best for: anyone in a state where DraftKings runs predictions but no sportsbook.
What does the playthrough actually cost you?
Every turnover of bonus credit through a standard -110 market costs about 4.55% of the stake in expectation. That multiple, and not the headline percentage, decides what you actually collect.
Playthrough | Total you must wager | Expected cost of clearing | What the $1,000 is worth |
1x | $1,000 | $45 | $955 |
5x | $5,000 | $227 | $773 |
10x | $10,000 | $455 | $545 |
15x | $15,000 | $682 | $318 |
Sleeper, Underdog and Chalkboard all sit at 1x. BetMGM sits at 10x, so a $1,000 credit there is worth about $545 once cleared. A smaller match at 1x beats a larger one at 10x on any deposit either can cover.
What gets sold as a deposit match but isn't one?
This is most of the category, and it's why the roundups disagree with each other.
DraftKings "Instant Match" is a casino product. Its own help article is titled Instant Casino Deposit Match, and it credits Casino Credits.
bet365's 100% match is casino only and carries 20x wagering. Its sportsbook runs first-bet offers.
Fanatics runs a bet match. It matches your qualifying wager at 100% in FanCash, capped at $100 a day across your first ten days. Your deposit does not enter into it.
Betr's public offer is four no-sweat tokens, not a deposit match. Betr does run a match, but it's invite-only and carries no published rate.
ProphetX and Kalshi have no deposit offer. ProphetX credits $75 when you trade $50, and Kalshi runs only a referral credit. Trading triggers both.
PrizePicks pays on a win. Its new-user offer needs your first lineup to win before $150 in bonus lineups arrives. A separate percentage deposit bonus exists but is targeted, so you cannot claim it on request.
Bally Bet's "first bet match" matches an opening wager, not a deposit.
Hard Rock's deposit-match page is an article explaining what a deposit match is, with no offer attached.
Caesars' widely quoted "100% up to $150" appears on affiliate sites and on no Caesars-hosted page we could find. Its own promotions run profit boosts.
What doesn't this comparison tell you?
We did not test any of these offers. Every figure comes from the operator's own published terms, read on 16 September 2026.
Offers move, and they move fast. An operator can withdraw one without notice. BetMGM's two percentages come from different state subdomains while both terms documents recite the same state list, so which you see depends on where you land.
The advertised maximum is rarely what anyone gets. A 20% match up to $1,500 needs a $7,500 deposit to reach the cap, and most people deposit a small fraction of that.
We cannot tell you Chalkboard's maximum. Its 50% rate is consistent throughout its own terms, but the cap is written three different ways in one document, as $500 in one clause, $250 in another and $100 in a worked example, with the spelled-out words and bracketed figures disagreeing each time. The table above says 50% for that reason.
Two we could not confirm. BetRivers markets a 1x playthrough brand-wide and may run the most generous match here, but its promotion pages render client-side and we could not retrieve current terms. Polymarket US shows no offer on its own site.
Responsible gameplay
A deposit match is a reason to bet more than you planned to, which is what it's designed to be. Credit that has to be turned over ten times encourages exactly the volume that costs you money. Bet within your means and stop when it stops being enjoyable. Deposit match FAQ
Which betting app has the best deposit match?
Sleeper's, on terms: 100% up to $100 at a 1x playthrough. BetMGM has a larger cap at 20% to 25% by state, but its 10x costs far more to clear. Among sportsbooks BetMGM is the only one still running a genuine match.
Does DraftKings offer a deposit match?
Not on its sportsbook. DraftKings' Instant Match is a casino offer and credits Casino Credits. DraftKings Predictions runs a separate $200 offer triggered by spending $5, not by depositing.
What is a playthrough requirement?
The number of times you must wager bonus credit before any of it can be withdrawn. At 10x, a $1,000 credit has to run through $10,000 of bets. At a standard -110 price that costs about $455 in expectation.
Is a bigger deposit match always better?
No, and this is the single most useful thing to know. A $1,000 match at 15x is worth about $318 once cleared, while a $250 match at 1x is worth about $239 for a fraction of the turnover. Read the multiple before the headline.
Do prediction markets offer deposit matches?
Some do. FanDuel Predicts ran a 100% match up to $50 in June 2026, though that promotion has expired. Novig runs a fixed $25 credit on a $10 deposit. Most of the others are triggered by trading rather than depositing.
Do daily fantasy apps have better deposit matches than sportsbooks?
On terms, yes. Sleeper, Underdog and Chalkboard all run 1x playthroughs against BetMGM's 10x. Pick'em is a different product from sportsbook betting and its legality varies more sharply by state, so check whether the app operates where you are.
